1.   GENERAL

The objective of this AIP-SUP to inform the relevant personnel about the operations of a tower crane close to the lower edge of relevant OLS of LHBP airport. The crane is not penetrating the OLS but due to operations of RWY 13R/31L and VFR flights an AIP-SUP is issued with the following elements:

• Determine the position and height of the crane with the radius of crane garden.
• Declare the obstacle markings and signs, and procedures.

2.   BACKGROUND

A building refurbishment on the south-west side of the airport has been started.

Supporting the work a crane will be erected within the effected period.

3.   PERIOD OF CRANE GARDEN

The crane garden is active:

From: 00:00 1st of March 2025

To: 19:00 31st of July 2025

Operational period: H24

4.   POSITION OF CRANE GARDEN AND HEIGHT

The coordinates of the centre position of the crane garden is: 47°25’35.51”N; 019°14’17.52”E.

Top elevation of the crane garden is: 155 m AMSL

Radius of crane garden: 40 M (from the centerpoint)

5.   OBSTALCE MARKINGS, LIGHTS AND PROCEDURES

The cranes marked by red and white flag and lighted by a continuously operated low intensity red obstacle lights according to ICAO ANNEX 14.
