1.   GENERAL

The objective of this AIP-SUP to inform the relevant personnel about the penetration of obstacle limitations surfaces of LHBP airport by cranes erected next to the RWY 13L/31R.

• Declare the penetration of surfaces.
• Determine the position and radius of crane garden with height of crane.
• Declare the obstacle markings and signs, and procedures.

2.   BACKGROUND

The construction of Parcel Logistics Centre next to the airport has been started.

During the construction period a crane garden is activated. The number of cranes are between 1 and 4 depends on the status of construction.

3.   PERIOD OF CRANE GARDEN

The crane garden is active:

From: 06:00 10th of December 2024

To: 18:00 30th of April 2025

Operational period: H24

4.   POSITION OF CRANE GARDEN AND HEIGHT

The coordinates of the centre position of the crane garden is: 47°26’21.28”N 019°17’16.08”E

The radius of the crane garden is: 270 m from the centre position.

Top elevation of the highest crane is: 183 m AMSL.

5.   OBSTALCE MARKINGS, LIGHTS AND PROCEDURES

Due to height of cranes the inner horizontal surface of the airport obstacle limitations surfaces are penetrated!

All cranes are marked by red and white strips and lighted by low intensity red obstacle lights according to ICAO ANNEX 14.
