ARO/FPL

Flight Plans of all IFR flights departing from Budapest FIR shall be submitted

• either directly to these two IFPS AFTN addresses: EUCHZMFP, EUCBZMFP
• or directly to ARO (Aeronautical Information Office) AFTN address: LHBPZPZX or by phone or fax (see more details in Contacts menu selection).

In case of departure planned from an AFIS^* aerodrome FPLs shall be submitted to AFIS, who sends the FPL to the ARO office.

^*Békéscsaba-LHBC, Debrecen-LHDC, Fertőszentmiklós-LHFM, Győr (Pér)-LHPR, Nyíregyháza-LHNY , Pécs-LHPP, Sármellék-LHSM, Szeged-LHUD.

In case of departure planned from a non-AFIS aerodrome FPLs shall be submitted as follows:

• domestic VFR flights: to Budapest ATS Centre, Flight Data Operation (FDO)
  phone: + 361 296-9143
  fax: + 361 296-9150, + 361 296-9151
• IFR or international VFR, or mixed flights to ARO

If FPLs are forwarded to FIC or to IFPS via ARO, originators should inquire about the acceptance of FPLs.
